Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the PTC custom fit engine air filter. The engine air filter is often one of those forgot about maintenance items that no one really thinks too much about, but in all honesty, it's a very important component and it needs to be regularly changed to keep clean and that's because the filter is going to provide your engine with the fresh clean air it needs to breathe. Whenever you have a dirty filter, it's really going to limit that flow and that's really going to affect the power, performance, fuel mileage, and just kind of that overall drivability that you're looking for in your Pacifica. So whenever you put a nice clean one in, you're going to be able to either regain those or maintain that performance, so it's a really important thing.So just to give you an example, here's the old one that we pulled out. Now this one isn't in horrible shape, but it's so easy to change, you might as well do it. more

Rob: Rob here etrailer.com. And today you're going to be taking a look at the PTC custom fit engineer filter on our 2016 Chrysler Town and Country. Checking and changing your air filter when it becomes dirty is going to be an important thing, because if we don't, the filter is going to end up getting clogged, which reduces the amount of air that can get into the engine, which means we're robbing ourselves of the power from the engine, as well as the fuel economy. Because our filter is going to make sure that all the debris, dirt or any other particles doesn't get inside the engine and cause any damage.But like I said, once it gets full, it's like trying to breathe through a straw that has a piece of paper stuck in the end. There's not going to be enough airflow to get that mileage and power we need. Now I know we've all been in that situation, we'll be at the service center, maybe getting an oil change and somebody offers to change our air filter. more
